Using Labels in Adobe Premiere Pro and Quick Color Coding

Sometimes we need to combine so many videos together and editing them one by one would be quite difficult. For example, if we asked 5 questions to 10 people and want to show their answers to the same questions back to back, we can assign different colors to each person’s answers and then arrange them later. We have a tool called Label for this. We can access it by right-clicking on the video in the Timeline, for instance.

Of course, we can do this one by one, but it would be more logical to add a shortcut and make it easier to edit. First, we press CTRL + ALT + K. Then, we can assign a shortcut key by typing “label” in the search section.

I assigned it to the num lock keys, but you can assign it to any available key for your convenience and achieve fast usage. We can also use these color coding not only in the Timeline but also in our project panel.
